            9:00am-3:30pm Rehearsals

Guest Conductor:   Jill Pennington

Conductor Bio

Jill Pennington is a dedicated educator and performer with a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Oklahoma City University. She has been living and teaching music in New Hampshire since 2005. Currently, Jill teaches at Riddle Brook School in Bedford, and she performs professionally in musicals at Manchester’s historic Palace Theatre. In addition, she works extensively with the Palace YouthTheatre program as a director, music director, and vocal coach. Jill is a former executive director of the NHMEA who simply loves making music with young people!

Nominations are due by Friday, January 19th. The registration link will be posted soon.

Details

1. Teachers nominate gr. 4-6 students with an online form (similar to MS festival format).
2. Nominations due by January 19, 2024.
3. There is a $25 participation fee per student.
4. Target chorus membership will be 75-80 singers representing music programs throughout New Hampshire.
5. Rehearsals will take place in the Grappone Center and teachers are invited to attend rehearsals. If you are planning on attending the NHMEA workshops, please register for the conference.
6. Students will bring a bag lunch, water bottle, music & pencil.
7. Students should arrive in black bottom/white top concert attire and wear it throughout the day.
