Dear NH Music Educators:
The New Hampshire Music Educators Association (NHMEA) has been actively monitoring developments regarding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Additionally, we have been receiving numerous correspondences from concerned stakeholders regarding the status of our upcoming events. After careful consideration of all factors, we regret to inform you that all NHMEA-sponsored events for the remainder of this school year have been cancelled. Those events are:
-Middle and High School Large Group Festivals
-All State Festival and Spring Conference
-Elementary Honors Choir Festival
-Middle School Festivals
As you can imagine, the logistics related to the decision to cancel are quite complex. More information regarding refunds and other related items will be forthcoming by the end of March. We ask for your patience and understanding as we put systems into place to allow us to begin the process of issuing refunds.
NHMEA deeply regrets the need to make this decision, but does so out of an abundance of caution and concern for the welfare of our students and communities. Thank you for your support of music education in New Hampshire.
