Guest Conductor: Dr. Lauren Peithmann
Conductor Bio
Dr. Lauren Peithmann is the choral director at Andover High School in Andover, MA where she teaches music electives and directs two choral ensembles as well as an active after-school Show Choir program. She has directed choirs in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania including the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and the United Girl Choir, among others. Dr. Peithmann has studied conducting with Janet Galvan, Simon Carrington, Jeffrey Douma, and Marguerite Brooks. She holds degrees from Ithaca College, Yale University, and Boston University. Dr. Peithmann resides in New Hampshire with her husband and two daughters.

Nominations are due by Friday, January 17th. The registration link will be posted soon.
Details
- Teachers nominate gr. 4-6 students with an online form (similar to MS festival format).
- Nominations due by January 17, 2025.
- There is a $30 participation fee per student.
- Target chorus membership will be 80-100 singers representing music programs throughout New Hampshire.
- Rehearsals will take place in the Grappone Center and teachers are invited to attend rehearsals. If you are planning on attending the NHMEA workshops, you must register for the conference.
- Students will bring a bag lunch, water bottle, music & pencil.
- Students should arrive in black bottom/white top concert attire and wear it throughout the day.
