Grading and Assessment

I have attached my district’s new competency based elementary school report card (UA section), rubrics, and the crosswalk connecting elementary competencies-district competencies-national standards.

This is the second year the UA team has used standards based assessment (1234) to assess students in our classroom. This year we roll out the new report cards and will be the first time the assessment method we use in class will accurately be reflected on the students’ report card. Our elementary school is changing from ABC grades to number grades that match performance descriptions.

Is there a way you could re-post these? You spoke about this forum in the Elementary Round Table today so I thought I’d check it out. I’m a brand new teacher and my school (Pittsfield elem) is competency based (yikes!). I’d love to see how you structured yours!
